The third cohort of Somatic Experiencing students has completed!

After what turned out to be four, not three years, thanks to the COVID pandemic, the group of students who started their SE journey on 14 April 2018, finally completed the course, at a residential in Cork's Ennismore Retreat and Conference Centre, on 14 November 2021.

With Berns Galloway as trainer, and 12 assistants, most of the original group were able to attend and so completed the final module, that of therapeutic touch.

To do so is an achievement, to do so in the middle of a pandemic was an act of courage for all concerned. Much learning was done that week, not least in titrating risk as individuls and as a group. 

To quote Berns Galloway's concluding words to the assistant team, which apply to all:  "We all navigated the various demands placed on us and did what was best in the moment. May you all be well and nourished by the company you keep and the connections you have created!!"
